Understanding Dyspraxia

Understanding Dyspraxia is an innovative app-based interactive documentary designed to educate users about dyspraxia from the perspective of those who live with it. Currently, this project is in the prototype stage.

Dyspraxia, also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), is a complex neurological condition that affects muscle coordination and perception (Dyspraxia UK, 2020). This condition can impact various activities, including writing, drawing, running, cycling, and participating in ball sports. It may also affect cognitive abilities such as communication, thought processing, and short-term memory.

Graphics

Drawing on the graphics and visuals created for the project, I produced posters to explain the traits and strengths of dyspraxia.

Story Video

Here is an example of a story video from the app. The purpose of the videos is for audiences to learn about dyspraxia through personal experiences shared by dyspraxic adults.
